  1. Prof. John Edgar Tidwell says:

Does anyone have photos of Sterling A. Brown, a faculty member at Virginia Seminary and College, from 1923-1926? He was “sent” there by his father, Rev. Sterling Nelson Brown, and historian Carter G. Woodson, ostensibly to teach. My theory is that he held out hope that his son would hear “the call” and enroll in the seminary.

    • Legacy Museum says:

The Legacy Museum does not have information about Sterling Brown at VA Seminary. I suggest contacting the institution now named Virginia University of Lynchburg 2058 Garfield; Lynchburg, Va 434 528 5276
