Rosa Jones

Rosa Jones, a native of Lynchburg, graduated from Virginia Seminary in 1897. In 1915 she married Rev. Frank B. Woodard and worked with him in the ministry. After his death in 1919 she returned to the Seminary, where she served as matron and dean of women. Over her lifetime she gave more than thirty years of service to the Seminary. Rosa Jones Woodard died in 1957.
