Naming Opportunities for the Legacy Museum

To open the doors of the Children’s Annex, Legacy needs an additional $100,000. Legacy has recently received notice that the Morgan Foundation in Richmond has awarded a grant of $15,000 towards completing renovation of the Children’s Annex. In order to receive the money, Legacy must match the award dollar for dollar from other sources. Board members and the museum administrator are working hard to raise this money through grants and private contributions and by “naming opportunities” for rooms in both buildings. Elliot and Rosel Schewel were the first to select a room – the “Board Room” – that will have a brass plaque with their names on it, mounted at the doorway. If you would like to name a room, contact Cheryl Stallings at the Museum, and she will be happy to show you the way. Your active participation will ensure opportunities for the next generation, and those following, to remember our collective past and build for the future together.
