Crystabel A. Harris departed this life on December 8, 2004.
Crystabel was a long time member of the Legacy Project board who enjoyed sharing her knowledge about the history of the area with others. She served until her health began to make it impossible to continue.

Legacy Mission Expanded

Two new grants will enable the Legacy Museum to continue to extend its educational mission by expanding its floor-space and outdoor area, mounting a new exhibit, and producing an exhibit catalog.

Challenge Grant

In December 2002, the Legacy Museum was awarded a $100,000 challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
