Operating Budget Suffers from Economic Downturn
Tough economic times have hit the operating budgets of non-profits especially hard, and the Legacy budget is no exception.
Yes, Legacy applies for and receives grants for equipment and special projects. And dedicated volunteers donate their time to countless necessary tasks, from copying documents, to serving as docents, to mowing the lawn.

… And More Partnerships
In addition to collaborations involving the LAC, representatives from Legacy participated in planning “Run for the Roses,” two races held in the Tinbridge Hill neighborhood on Sunday, May 3. A 3/4-mile kids’ race began at 3 p.m., and a 5K adults’ race started at 3:30. Both races began and ended in the Old City Cemetery.
