The Legacy Makers

The Legacy Museum of African American History, in collaboration with Lynchburg Parks and Recreation, invites you to celebrate Black History Month with us. We are excited to present a live performance of "The Legacy Makers" (formerly The Quincy Armstrong Show). The program features portrayals of historical African American persons of distinction. This year's event is entitled "Reserved Seating" and will highlight local, little known pioneers who seized upon opportunities to sit at the proverbial table and, by doing so, left their indelible imprint on history. This event is free and open to the public.
